Matthew, better known as Boof, worked and managed at the Metrorock Boston gym for 7 years before moving on to manage Metrorock Vermont. He began climbing in 2003 and began his career at Metrorock as a volunteer setter in 2007, and eventually became part of the infamous Metrorock setting crew. He has also won the MetroRock route setting contest multiple times. He wears many hats at the Burlington location, some better fitting than others. Some of his favorite climbs include Planet of the Apes at Joe's Valley, Pure Palm at Smith Rock, and Armarillo Sunset at Red River Gorge,

Peter started climbing in Vermont 20 years ago and has since devoted his life to the pursuit of trying as hard as possible to not fall off of the least easy rock faces he could hope to hang on to. He has been a routesetter, guide, teacher, coach and is now part owner and designer of Metrorock, Vermont. He lives in Burlington, Vermont with his wife and two sons.
