Since 2004, MetroRock Climbing Centers has provided world class climbing facilities to New England. Shift Supervisors work closely with the Management team to maintaining a positive envoirnement for both customers and staff members. Desk Staff will work with Shift Supervisors and the Management team to help run the facility from day to day. Desk Staff are the backbone to creating a welcoming environment and introducing customers to the MetroRock experience. This is a part/full time position which reports to the gym manager. Routesetters will work with Chief Routesetter and the Director of Route Setting to set boulder problems and top-rope/lead routes throughout the facility. Prior route-setting experience and knowledge of rope systems and anchoring methods required. Read full description here.
The Afterschool Lead works Monday through Friday from 3:30PM - 5PM running MetroRock Bushwick's afterschool program. This is a part time position and hours can be added through maintenance and front desk tasks, but the primary role is to work with the afterschool kids on a daily basis. MetroRock's afterschool program is a combination of climbing, games, and socialization, and afterschool staff work to better the climbing and general skills of the children in the program.
