Restorative Yoga w/ Heather

 

Combining a restorative yoga practice with your climbing routine is a GREAT idea! Why? As we belay or climb, we create a great deal of tension in our necks, upper bodies, and hips as we hug ourselves to the wall. Restorative yoga gives us the opportunity to slow down and unwind the tight muscle fibers which accumulate and limit our flexibility and mobility; thus, hindering our experience. Restorative yoga not only assists us to be more comfortable in our bodies, it benefits our climbing practice directly. Invite a different kind of strength in your training, the power of flexibility! Give yourself the time to slow down and rest with therapeutic guided movement. Namaste!
