SUMMER CAMP

Looking for something fun for the kids to do this summer?

Check out the new summer camps at MetroRock! Starting in June, MetroRock we will be running weeklong sessions, including indoor, outdoor, and overnight camps at both Climbing Centers. Registration is open.

For 2008, MetroRock offers three different camp programs:


  Camp at Rumney

Sport climbing training at Rumney with Coach Steve Buck! This overnight camp will consist of 5 days and 4 nights. Campers and counselors will meet in Rumney on Monday morning (July 21st or 28th) and need to be picked up on the following Friday evening (July 25th or August 1st).

  Outdoor Climbing Camp

Starting Monday, June 30th, MetroRock is proud to offer youth climbing programs to our next generation of climbers. Outdoor Instruction will provide children with the opportunity to experience climbing in an outdoor environment under the supervision of experienced climbers and outdoor educators.

  Indoor Summer Camp

Starting Monday, June 30th, MetroRock will be offering an indoor climbing program for children each week. Your children will enjoy a daily four-hour session of rock climbing and recreation under the expert supervision of our experienced staff. The program primarily includes climbing but will also include other games and activities.

Dates: Weekly Monday to Friday, beginning Monday, June 30th.
Times: There are two sessions daily. Morning Session - 9am to noon, Afternoon Session - 1 to 4pm.
Who: All children ages 5 and older.
Reservations: required.
Cost: Cost is $150 per weekly session or $275 for both weekly sessions.

Please note:

  • Each child MUST have a waiver completed in accordance with MetroRock policy.
  • Parents are responsible for a TIMELY pick-up and drop-off of their children. A late pickup fee of $15 will be charged each time a child is not picked up on time.
Children under 18 must have waiver signed by parents.
