The Rumney Tour (223)
*Rum-ney* [rum-nee] /noun/, Old English term used to refer to New
England’s wicked, cool sport climbing Mecca. As in, where
are you headed? Ans. Rumney! OR Whadda ya doing this weekend? Ans.
Rumney!
Whether your new to the sport or more experienced but haven't had
a chance to visit Rumney, NH yet let us take you on a "Tour
of Rumney".
This single day tour is organized around your skill level and will
introduce you to some of the nicest schist in the area. Located
less than 2 hours north of Boston the tour begins in the Rumney
parking lot and lasts until your arms can't take anymore. No sport
climbing experience is necessary as our guides will put up the ropes
for you.
However, certified belay experience is required.
We will teach you:
- How to climb real rock
- Beginner technique and instruction
- Different types of climbing that can be done outdoors
Max ratio 4 Climbers : 1 Instructor

Equipment Requirements: Harness, Climbing Shoes,
Belay Device and Locking Carabiner. Please be prepared to spend
the day outdoors by bringing a water bottle, something to eat, bug
spay, sunscreen, and rain gear.
Suggested Prerequisites: 101, 102, or 121
Reservations: Required
Price (per climber): $115
