Are you passionate about climbing, but still find yourself yearning for something more? Looking for a way to go deeper into the sport? Prepare to rack-up and delve into the mysteries of traditional lead climbing! Learning traditional climbing  will open a door to limitless possibilities for accessing climbing routes both locally and around the world. This 2 Day Course will include the instruction and practical application necessary to take the first steps in the Trad Climbing world. 

We will teach you:

  • Proper Lead Technique
  • Placing Gear
  • Setting Anchors
  • Safety Instruction and Hazard Evaluation
  • Route Finding

 

Location: Pawtuckaway State Park in Southern New Hampshire.

Suggested Pre-requisites:Should be lead belay certified. Intro to Outdoor Climbing (103),Indoor Basic Safety Class (101), Outdoor Climber (121), Indoor Lead Climber (301)
