Ken Miller, Lead Instructor, Wednesdays in Everett

I studied Hatha Yoga at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica, where I received my 200 hour Yoga Alliance-certified teacher training. My passion for yoga stems from its capacity to foster physical and emotional well-being in a fun and powerful way. Yoga offers wonderful tools for managing anxiety and stress, and for achieving a greater sense of ease, confidence, and self-acceptance. As a rock-climber and runner, I am grateful for the ways in which yoga has increased my strength, flexibility, and focus.

Elan Solveson, Mondays & Tuesdays in Everett

I discovered yoga in 2010 and completed my 200-hour yoga teacher certification in 2012. I often prefer balancing on my hands to standing on my feet and have learned through my yoga practice that I can do absolutely anything I set my mind to. With a background in vinyasa yoga, I encourage students to step outside of their comfort zone and challenge themselves every day. I am excited to share my passion of yoga and to create a space of possibility for students to grow both on and off their mat.

Cindy Jao, Thursdays in Everett

Cindy discovered a love of yoga three years ago and hasn’t looked back since. She recently completed an intense 200-hour training in India, where she lived on an ashram, deepened her practice, and immersed herself in the yogic lifestyle. Her teaching comes from the heart, and blends her own experiences doing yoga in the East and the West. Her classes emphasize proper alignment and coordination of breath with movement, providing a foundation for developing the individual practice. She is continually inspired by the amazing teachers, students, crossfitters, runners, and climbers that surround her and hopes to share her love of yoga with them.

Jeff Imperato, Saturdays in Everett

A lifelong outdoor athlete, Jeff came to yoga over 15 years ago to help heal a surfing-related neck injury. After finding that yoga changed much more than his body for the better, he become an avid student and teacher. He truly enjoys working with athletes to bring them greater strength, flexibliity, and (most of all) patience. His classes incorporate elements of Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Yin into a flowing vinyasa practice that’s designed especially for those seeking a helpful and lighthearted guide on their journey into yoga.
