202 Strength Climber
If you want to get super strong—I’m talking V10+ bouldering
and 5.14+ route climbing—this class has your name written
all over it. Taught by one of the strongest climbers in New England,
David Wetmore, a newly sponsored FiveTen and Arc’Teryx professional
athlete, the Strength Climber Class will propel
your physical performance to its absolute maximum.
Because the physical aspects of your climbing are solely dependant
upon the foundations from which they are built, the only way to
improve your strength is improve those foundations: train hard
and train smart. It makes no difference whether you have
been climbing 10 days or 10 years; the same principles apply. With
the latest training regimens and updated strength training systems,
you will be crushing like never before.

Two Day Class Outline:
- Power Training: Maximum Muscle Recruitment, Contact Strength,
Hyper-Loading
- Power Endurance Training: Accelerate Muscle Recovery, Decrease
Pump Zones
- Endurance Training: Decrease Lactic Acid Zones, Increase Movement
Volume
- Weight and Cardio Training: Body Composition, Strength to Weight
Ratios
- Stretching and Injury Prevention: Physical Therapy, Opposition
Training
This course is designed for climbers: Climbing
5.8 or higher (needs and requirements of each class will be evaluated
to fulfill the goals of those involved)
Max ratio 4 climbers: 1 Instructor
Dates:
Monday & Wednesday in Newburyport 6:30pm-8:30pm
or Tuesday & Thursday in Everett 6:30pm-8:30pm
*Course is a 2 day clinic that will customize a training program
for you
