Fitness and Training Equipment

MetroRock provides full service fitness facilities in addition to our amazing climbing terrain. Both of our locations feature fitness areas where climbers can warm-up and exercise using traditional exercise equipment as well as training devices specific for climbers.

  

Everett boasts a dedicated fitness room with treadmills, stationary bikes, free weights, benches and more. In the mezzanine, we've installed campus boards, system wall, slab wall and a steep boulder wall for those climbers wanting to get serious about strength training.

   

Newburyport's fitness area features some unique challenges for even the strongest climbers. Wide, sloping pull up bars, hangboards and kettle bells give you the chance to target your weaknesses and provide a welcome break from conventional gym equipment.

In addition to equipment and dedicated fitness areas, our gyms also host Yoga classes on regular schedules, personal training options and classes designed to improve your climbing abilities. Whether it's your first time climbing or you're getting back in shape after a hiatus, we have what you need to get in top climbing form!
