Team Building

  • [View]

Challenge, Strength, and Confidence.

Take the next step in developing your team into stronger team players. This is the MetroRock Team Building Challenge. Individuals and teams will be pushed outside their levels of comfort to achieve success in both climbing and in business.

Hosted at one of our two indoor rock climbing centers (located in Everett & Newburyport Massachusetts), we work with you to identify your company/team goals, customize a team building program to meet your needs, and follow up to ensure that desired outcomes were achieved.

Our team building events include full use of our climbing centers, conference rooms, and climbing walls. Your teams will be involved with meetings to plan and set goals. They'll compete in climbing problems and challenges and work together in trusting situations. They will be pushed outside their comfort zones and asked to solve problems or overcome an obstacle by utilizing the combined strength and power of the Team. Teams can be more effective than individuals and we stress the importance of trusting each other. They will remember their climbing experience for years to come and retain the lessons about themselves and their colleagues while at work.

Get your group to fully understand what it means to work as a TEAM!

While each Team Building Program is tailored to your Company's goals and expectations, the examples below provide a range of programs that have been used with other companies:

Confidence Through Climbing Program
This is our most basic skill based climbing exercise. This is a 3 hour program that is organized as follows:

Safety Focus - Elemental climbing safety program taught in small groups. Focus is on knots, gear, communication, and rope safety.

Looking for a different kind of venue for your next party?

Try a sleepover at MetroRock and get the whole place to yourselves! We'll provide everything you need for a fun and successful party, including use of our private conference room, private use of the facilities, all required equipment, and a chaperone for the overnight stay.

You will have to provide your own belayers during the event.  To help facilitate that, MetroRock will provide a FREE BASIC SAFETY (101) class for up to 6 chaperones in the days leading up to the event. If Metrorock has to educate belayers the day/night of this event a extra $10 fee will assessed to each person requiring a class.

Call or ask at the desk for more information.

When: A time convenient for your group!
