Let's go climb some ICE! The Ice Climber class is a full one-day class designed for climbers with some experience (either indoors or outdoors) to come experience the thrill of climbing frozen water! Never climbed outside before? Great! Use this class as a great way to experience outdoor climbing for the first time! Looking to improve your ice climbing technique? Come join us! Our instructors will help you hone those ice climbing skills!
In this class you will learn:
- How to use ice climbing equipment
- Safe Climbing
- Movement and Technique
Locations: Depending on conditions, we will meet at one of several great ice climbing crags in Southern New Hampshire and the White Mountains. Dress in warm layers!

Want to start climbing outside on your own? Our Top Rope Manager Class is an intensive class teaching you the concepts of building top rope anchor systems.
In this class you will learn:
- How to use specialized climbing safety equipment such as rope, webbing, carabiners, removable and fixed protection.
- How to tie specialized climbing knots such as the bowline, clove hitch and the ring bend.
- How to safely identify and use different anchor points.
- The basic concepts of a safe top rope anchor system.
- How to build different top rope anchor systems.
Location: Local crags located anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour drive from Boston.

Let's get outdoors! Our Outdoor Climber Class is a half day class designed to get climbers from the gym to the outdoor world of climbing with our professional staff to local top rope destinations. We want to make your transition from climbing indoors to outdoors an eye-opening experience that will get you hooked. This is your chance to hone your climbing skills on real rock and gain some real confidence and experience outside of the gym environment! This class will provide you with the skills to move on to our Top Rope Manager Class.
In this class you will learn:
- How to refine your outdoor belaying skills.
- How to improve your communication skills at the crag.
- How to refine your basic outdoor climbing technique.
- Advanced outdoor climbing techniques such as crack climbing and bouldering.
