LATE SUMMER OPENING PLANNED FOR METROROCK VERMONT

MetroRock Climbing Centers announces that their third rock climbing gym will be opening in Summer 2014 in Essex, Vermont. The gym will bring a blend of climbing terrain, high ropes course activities, general fitness and physical training to the Burlington region.

The new gym is located at 6 Susie Wilson Road in Essex, VT, just 10 minutes and 5 miles from downtown Burlington and close to area colleges and shopping areas. The facility will feature:

• Climbing walls designed and built by Walltopia, USA
• 11, 500 square feet of rope climbing walls up to 50 feet high for top rope and lead climbing
• 5500 square feet of bouldering terrain
• Indoor “high ropes” challenge courses
• Fitness and yoga rooms
• Spaces for parties and events
• A full service gear shop

As in the existing gyms, MetroRock Burlington will provide a challenging climbing area where patrons can climb for fun, learn and develop new climbing skills, train for fitness and take part in the thriving Vermont climbing scene. Birthday parties, group events and other programs for both kids and adults will be available as well.
