You may have noticed the blue route placards going up in Everett recently. They mark routes that will be open for judging in the route setting contest starting this weekend. Who decides which routes are the winners? You do!

To vote for your favorite routes, pick up a ballot at the front desk and keep track of your scores as you climb. Each route in the contest is graded for quality of movement, creativity and accuracy in terms of grade. You can vote for as many as you like over the course of a month.

Cash prizes are awarded within each grade category; 5.7, 5.8, 5.9 and 5.10. Setters are each assigned 2 routes. You'll notice the blue placards don't provide the setter's name so it is as anonymous as possible. Balloting is open from January 12th to February 12th.
